Getting ready for Christmas for me no longer involves buying things for anyone. Any gifts are money. And this year, even that is curtailed as I get used to being retired.

Of course, this would be the year when there are more year-end pleas than ever for charitable donations. Sorry, but I can't help. I hope to be back to what is financially usual for me in the spring.

Yikes...this entry is shorter and more boring. Must work on that!
