Folks, I'm urgently trying to raise $1,000 for my rent. I've gotten notice that if it isn't paid by tomorrow morning, I'm evicted. This is embarrassing, and frightening, and I'm desperate. I don't have anywhere else to go, and I haven't been able to find work.

I thought I had a little more time to raise the funds, but I don't.
