A Friday Five using the October 5, 2001 five, since the site is taking a break this week.

1. �What's on top of your refrigerator?
Several different kinds of crackers, some booze, a blender, a few spare "things" (ashtrays, cookie tins, etc.), and lots of dust.

2. �What's your favorite meal of the day?
Dinner, most days. Once in a while, lunch is the better meal.

3. �Do you wash dishes by hand or in the dishwasher? What detergent do you use?
By hand and Dawn (original scent)

4. � How often do you eat out compared to eating in?
I eat at home about 98 per cent of the time. The budget doesn't have much room for meals out.

5. �How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Working on a crochet project and doing some housework.

Today was a Monday, no matter what the calendar said. The day pretty much got summed up by a message on my voice mail at work: the whole thing was someone sighing. The sigh itself was an interesting blend of exasperation and defeat. It was a Monday sigh.

I hope we all have good Saturdays, or Tuesdays, as the case may be.
