March 26 Odds and ends today. Today is the anniversary of my Confirmation, many years ago. Although I don't go to church these days, that day still stands out as one of the most important, and most joyful, of my life. Something I'm very grateful for is that a few years ago I got a change to see my confirming pastor on this anniversary, and had a chance to tell him how much I had learned in Catechism and how much I remembered of it. He's still alive and well, but I'm glad I had the chance already, anyway. No sense waiting till the last minute! Wendy and I held off bad weather this afternoon. She brought the medicine necessary to calm Zoe in thunderstorms, and I brought my umbrella. It worked well. I'm still working my way through the material for the crafters' links page that I ranted about on Sunday. I wasn't kidding that there are a lot of links to be checked; it's six pages. And checking those pages and working on a few other things is taking up the rest of my evening. Hope yours goes well. * * * * * * * * * * * Beth has started a ring of journallers who plan to update daily for the rest of Lent. The ring is called "Saving Kymm's Soul," in honor of Kymm's pledge to give up reading journals for Lent. She'll need a handy list of archives to search as she celebrates Easter, and we thought we'd help her out. The list of ring members is here.
