Greetings from the Depraved - March 12 The big news is early this morning one of the two suspects in Eve Carson's murder was arrested. The other suspect is, as I write, still at large, but is believed to be in the area. More information is available here.
The far-less-important news is that the Westboro folks plan to protest Carolina's memorial service for Eve, which will be held next Tuesday (Carolina is on Spring Break this week). The following is the news release from the Westboro folks about their plans. I thought you'd like to see it, with their words and punctuation: NEWS RELEASE As an alumna, I proudly claim my place in the Westboro-damned. I found out today that the Westboro people did indeed show up in Athens. But word of their plan preceded them, and Athens Police would only issue them a permit to be out of sight of the church where Eve's funeral was held. No one attending the service had to see them. I haven't heard if the Chapel Hill or University Police have been contacted for a permit, but I can hope for a similar result.

God Hates Fags! & Fag-Enablers. Ergo, God hates N. Carolina Univ. It is a cesspool of iniquity - throughout; top to bottom - staff, administration, faculty, alumni, student body. There is no fear of God before their eyes, and hence they are irreversibly doomed. American universities are God-defying, Satanic, and vile. Picket time, date, place: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Dean E. Smith Center, 300 Skipper Bowles Drive Chapel Hill, North Carolina, 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
