Craziness - August 30

A man in Hillsborough, which is north of me, decided today was a good day to go shooting.

Unfortunately, people were his targets. His father is dead, and two high school students are injured, one who was shot and one who was hit with glass from a window.

The two students are expected to make complete recoveries. I'm glad for them, and for their friends and families.

It's hard to understand the craziness behind such shootings, but in this case I do think it's craziness.

And it's hard to believe the craziness happens on a Wednesday in late August when schools are just getting back in session after a summer off. A day that was supposed to be a typical mid-week day.

My thoughts tonight are especially with the family of the two men, the killer and the killed. It has to be hard as hell to be in their shoes.
