Upddates from the law firm.

We are healing, thanks. It's been a little over a week since TC left, and the stress she created seems to have followed her out the door. Although there has been a lot of work to be done, it has been and is being done in peace.

One really nice piece of serendipity: Associate One's older daughter had a bit of free time between the end of her recent semester abroad and the beginning of her summer job. So she's come in to handle the lobby duties during the mornings this week. It's been most pleasant to have her there.

Although the changes in the weather in the past few days have bothered office dog Zoe, she is also much less stressed. Today, she and I had a little bit of fun in the early afternoon. She came to my office and let me know she wanted to go outside. I knew she didn't need to go potty, but I thought going for a little walk sounded like a fine idea, so we did just that.

Oh, in case you've been waiting for a report, the new coffeemaker is doing a good job.

And, last but not least, the new grandpa (also known as Senior Partner) is still wandering around on Cloud Nine, just where he belongs.
