Juxtapositions of the day:

Early in the day I mentioned to someone that I was getting a lot of spam to one of my domain addresses. She commented she had just received a porn spam at her home, and was planning to get in touch with the computer manufacturer about it.

No, she was not kidding. According to her, the manufacturer must be the problem, since she never once got such on her old computer. I rather gently suggested that she might want to look into e-mail filtering instead.

I will freely admit that I have some naivete, which extends to the ways of the Internet. But not that much.

Much later in the day, I got e-mail from someone wanting to take me up on the offer of porn-site-starting advice. That one was ever so much easier to deal with. And yes, if you're curious, the offer still holds.

Even later, I read this entry on the subject. And wrote Tyger to say amen.

It's a little unusual for me to have a Monday that includes so much porn---er, so much about porn. Somehow that usually shows up midweek. Insert your own joke here.

Me, I'm off to ponder what Tuesday will hold.
