December 27

It occurred to me that some of you might wonder about those ornaments on the wall above my piano every year. Obviously, they're special to me, or I wouldn't keep putting them up. So I thought I'd tell you something about them. Those that are from a Christmases around the world series all came from my mother, who subscribed to the series. There are a few more in the series that don't work well against a wall. The ones referred to as gifts are from friends or relatives, and the one from Old Salem was something Mother knew I'd love. And those from a church bazaar are from exactly that---a fund-raiser held by a church group The items there were handmade by church members.
