December 3 Someone took me up on the offer this afternoon. I did answer the note, but somewhat vaguely, since the request for information didn't convince me the person was really interested in knowing how to start a porn site. I'll let you know if I get a response. While I'm on the subject of porn: go read David's essay on the subject. It brings up some interesting points, and is written very well. My response to it was succinct: Amen. Another piece of e-mail that came today brought news that pleased me enormously. It was an invitation from my author client to join her for a meal later in the week. The occasion is that the proof pages of a book I did a bit of contributing to and a lot of copy-editing on are back, and she wants me to check them. It gave me a great deal of pleasure to work with her on this one, and it will be nice to see the proof copy. After answering her, and doing the happy dance over that news, I had supper and took a nap. Now I have some reading to do. All in all, not a bad day.
