November 20 I'm using the domain space again, to do a remembrance of Robbie, which is here. November 19 Sometimes, there's not much to say. This is one of those times. My thoughts tonight are with all Robbie's humans. We'll tell you about it later. November 18 Some assorted things I've had reason to ponder recently: --A good way to come up with the most complete list of large universities in the US is to remember to check the list of schools that make up the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division One. Don't use that for your only source, but do check it for any strays you might not find on some other list. --I have moved up to the number one spot if one searches you-know-what search engine regarding starting a porn site. I continue to be amused by that. --Along the same lines, searching for "personal sites" brings up my links page. I'm not sure where I fall on that one, but I'm in the top twenty. --There are fascinating people who read this site and write to me, especially those who find it from David, who is also a fascinating person. --There are two other journals I read all the time that I've been meaning to mention. Dorothy's Love, Curiousity, Freckles, and Doubt is named for a line in a poem by a favorite poet, which is why I ever followed a link to it. I continued reading because I like the writing. And the other is Michael's Bunt Sign. Among many other things, Michael knows all about working from home and the value of a good Selectric. I don't remember exactly how I found Michael's site, but I know why I go back---the writing. --See, for me, it really is all about the writing.
