Let us not confuse education and intelligence. While it does require a certain amount of intelligence to get an education, there are in our midst a lot of highly educated yet not particularly intelligent people.

And let us not forget the notion of the separation of Church and State. There are some religious leaders who need a civics refresher course.

These two points are what's on my mind today; the second more than the first.

And they are both worth remembering.
