An assortment of things tonight.

The searches for porn information don't amuse me as much as they did the first few months. But every once in a while, the search terms themselves do amuse me. The best one of the weekend has been "secretarial" porn. Both words appeared in an entry, but that was their only connection.

We have had some rain this weekend, which we really needed. North Carolina's drought situation is bad, to the point that it's being said the only real solution to it will be a tropical storm (aka hurricane) with its torrential rains. And that's scary.

I haven't done much this weekend. I did run an errand yesterday, and do a small bit of housework. And I've done some thinking about crafts things. I'm in the middle of a couple of projects right now, but they weren't what I was thinking about. I was pondering whether or not I want to participate in this year's online crafts fair.

Last year's crafts fair was not a successful event for most of us, in large part because it started just as the economy headed south and the events of September 11 happened one week into it. This year's version is scheduled to start later and will, of course, last less time. That works well for me.

But there are some other changes taking place, about running contests, etc., that I'm not sure I have time to be part of, so I'm weighing my options. I'll let you know closer to the time (October) for the fair. And if I don't participate, I still encourage you to check out the sites of those who do. The crafters are a good and very talented group.
